About Me
Jambo! I’m Jackie, and my journey from the sun-kissed savannahs of Kenya to the vibrant heart of Germany is one I cherish deeply. Raised amidst the rich tapestry of Kenya’s diverse cultures, I grew up with a profound appreciation for the beauty that emerges when traditions, stories, and values intertwine.
In Kenya, family is our anchor. It’s the gentle hum that accompanies our most joyous celebrations and the comforting embrace that shields us during times of adversity. This ingrained belief in the strength of family ties has fueled my passion for working with children. To me, every child is a testament to the enduring spirit of hope, love, and limitless potential, much like the vast plains and towering peaks of my homeland.
Now, in Germany, I’ve found a new home where the melodies of different languages, the warmth of intertwined histories, and the spirit of shared futures converge. As a daycare professional, I get the privilege of nurturing the young minds of this cosmopolitan nation. Each day, I aim to infuse the values I hold dear—love for family, respect for diverse cultures, and the joy of learning—into the work I do.
